What We Collect

When you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect your email address. That is the only personal information we ask for directly. We also collect anonymized analytics data including pages visited, approximate location at country level, and device type so we can understand how people use the site and improve it over time. We never sell or share your email address with third parties.

Cookies and Local Storage

SubtleField uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Microsoft Clarity to understand site usage. These services set cookies to track sessions and aggregate behavior. We also use browser localStorage to remember your preferences within the site, for example whether you have already subscribed so we do not show you repeated prompts. You can clear localStorage at any time through your browser settings.

Third Party Services

Google Analytics collects anonymized usage data under Google's privacy policy. Microsoft Clarity records session replays and heatmaps in aggregated, anonymized form to help identify usability issues. Neither service receives your email address or any information that would allow them to identify you personally.

Your Rights

You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email we send. To request deletion of your email address from our records, write to contact@subtlefield.com with "data deletion" in the subject line and we will process your request within seven days.
